The Department of Defense (DoD) Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program provides up to $4,000 of Financial Assistance for military spouses who are pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials leading to employment in Portable Career Fields.

• Spouses of activated members of the National Guard and Reserve Components

  What MyCAA Program Pays For

  Education and training programs, tuition, and certification/credentialing fees (including course materials).

  What Are Eligible Training Programs?

  To be eligible, each student’s career training program must follow three criteria:

  1. Must lead to a Portable Career (can be employed regardless of location)
  2. Must result in a diploma, degree or professionally recognized certification
  3. Training package must not exceed $4000
